Ibrahim Almilad a Life in colors. 

65 years old artist Ibrahim Almilad who lives at small farm in Qatif located 10 meter away of the graveyard which he transformed it to a pieces of art in dot coloring it for more than 20 years of dots painting expressing his feeling and stories of his life.

In my work I want to deliver the meaning of coloring the life as I felt from Ibrahim.

I heard about Ibrahim and I searched for his place meet him and his art

It wasn’t that hard to find his place as it is full of colors reminded me of the movie Up.

Clearly to me Ibrahim was open when he speaks about his art but little bit shy or hiding his personal life.

I wanted to capture Ibrahim in his real situation or what I could imagine it is his normal routine during the day.

He was not looking to the camera most of the photos and I didn’t ask for him to see unless he wanted which gave me his real situation maybe during the day while he is alone and meditating using his art trying to slower the time.

I also captured his art feelings as well, they are alive but looks like only for him.

Our life are shorts looks like the 10 meter away from the graveyard, perhaps we can slow the clock if we start coloring it.

This project is to highlight Ibrahim work to the city and the country which could expose this iconic art.
